Medical Conditions

We Commonly Diagnose and Treat

At Walking Paws Rehab we treat a wide range of conditions. Even though a lot of our patients are referred from a primary vet, neurologist, or orthopedic surgeon. A referral is not required. If you notice that your pet has started limping, is getting weaker, slowing down, or exhibiting pain we can help you narrow down what is going on with your pet and what to do about it. Below are common conditions we diagnose and treat, but we’re capable of handling much more.

“It’s a dream come true that my paralyzed dog is now walking again!

We are grateful to find Dr. Wynn, Dr. Miller and the caring staff at Walking Paws Rehab. They gave us hope that she could recover from IVDD and worked hard to make it happen.

In April of 2019 my 2 1/2 year old pup herniated a disc leaving her paralyzed without feeling or function in her back half. Surgery was not an option for us so we went with conservative treatment, giving her time to heal.

I was so happy to find a clinic that offered such a variety of treatments within each session from acupuncture to laser therapy, massage, e-stem, ultrasound, hydrotherapy & exercises. They are easy to work with and adjusted the treatments to fit her ever changing needs.

Dr. Wynn developed a treatment plan for at home care & exercises, so that Pepper could progress between appointment. I don’t know where we would be without Dr. Wynn’s guidance.

Thank you, Walking Paws Rehab for giving Pepper a second chance at life on all four paws.

We highly recommend Walking Paws Rehab.”

"Danyel of Walking Paws Rehab is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. She is truly committed to our dog's well-being and continued improvement, and has shown time and again that she will do whatever she can to help his progress as he heals from a brachial plexus injury."

"My golden retriever has suffered with elbow dysplasia and chronic arthritis for years and she has had PT in several places; Walking Paws is 'paws down' THE BEST place she has ever been! They are prompt, professional, caring and very helpful. Molly LOVES going to see them -- she knows she will walk out feeling so much better at the end of the session. They have provided valuable information and made many recommendations which we have incorporated and she is doing very well as a result! I HIGHLY recommend this rehab facility!"

"Everyone at Walking Paws Rehab exemplifies the level of professionalism and expertise that I was hoping to find when I started our search for a rehab veterinarian. The examinations are all very detailed and thorough, more so than we’ve ever received anywhere else. Dr. Wynn has taken a systematic approach to her treatment plan and clearly leverages her vast experiences and deep subject matter expertise in order to deliver the absolute best care and results to our Weimaraner, Macy. I couldn’t ask for better care for such an important part of our family."
