It’s impossible not to like Angie. A smile on her face, ready to greet everyone with a warm welcome is her norm. She radiates positivity from the moment she walks through our doors all the way to the end of the day, even after a long day of many patients and complicated injuries. We are very grateful at Walking Paws Rehab to have Angie on the team and if you ever meet Angie there is a high chance she will make you and your pet’s day better!
Angie graduated from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. She worked in outpatient care focusing on post-operative care in spine and orthopedics. She has additional skillsets in treating patients with scoliosis. Additionally, she is a C2 level Certified Physical Therapist under the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School of North America (BSPTS) and performs functional dry needling.
Angie transitioned her skillsets to animals and underwent certification through Canine Rehab Institute. She joined the Walking Paws team a couple of years ago and has been helping pets since! The doctors love her, the team loves her, the patients love her, and our guest do too!
Angie is full of energy and lives a very active lifestyle. It’s great conversating with her about skiing, weight lifting, mountain biking, fly fishing, and gardening. It’s also fun to pick her brain about physical therapy techniques that she performed on humans. She is always learning and growing her physical therapy knowledge.
Angie not only brings a lot of knowledge to help each patient, but also makes rehab enjoyable and fun for each pet, helping them feel encouraged and and empowered to heal. We can guarantee your pet will look forward to seeing Angie and her amazing smile.
