Referring a Patient to Walking Paws Rehab

Walking Paws Rehab is a veterinary rehabilitation and pain-management practice with clinics in Boulder and Denver. Our team of veterinarians and physical therapists holds CCRT, CCRA, CVA, CVPP, and CAPM credentials, and we work alongside primary care, surgical, and neurology practices across the Front Range.

How to refer. Email records, imaging, and surgical reports to info@walkingpawsrehab.com, or have the client call or text (720) 639-3924. A referral is not required for clients to book, but when one is on file we send an initial evaluation summary and progress notes back to you so your record stays current. We do not replace your care; we coordinate with it.

What we see most. Post-operative rehabilitation after TPLO, TTA, FHO, hemilaminectomy, and fracture repair; conservative management of CCL and IVDD cases; osteoarthritis pain management; neurologic re-education; and custom orthotics and prosthetics. Our full conditions list and services are on the site. We typically see post-surgical patients three to four days after surgery.

Diagnostics on site. Musculoskeletal ultrasound read by a board-certified radiologist, radiographs, and bloodwork, so we can confirm soft-tissue diagnoses without sending the client elsewhere.
